About Motion Arcade
What this is
Motion Arcade is a browser arcade where your body is the controller. There is nothing to install and no gamepad to buy: you allow camera access, stand or sit in front of your webcam, and play. Depending on the cabinet you steer with your head, slice with your fingertips, swat a mallet with your palm, or, in one game, fire a flamethrower by opening your mouth.
How motion control works
Every game runs on in-browser machine learning (MediaPipe) that finds your hands and face in the camera feed dozens of times per second. Those landmark positions, not the video itself, drive the games: the angle between your eyes tilts a beam, the centroid of your hand moves a paddle, the shape of your mouth pulls a trigger. It works on laptops and phones with no plugin and no download beyond the page itself.
Privacy by design
The camera feed is processed entirely on your device, inside your browser. Frames are never uploaded, stored, or seen by our servers or anyone else; closing the tab ends everything. The full details, including what little account data we do keep if you sign in, are in the privacy policy.
The games
The arcade currently runs eight live cabinets, each with its own control scheme: The Zen Scale (head-tilt balance), Nebula Ace (head-steered space shooter), Inferno Drop (face-controlled survival), Air Hockey (hand-tracked, local two player), Brick Breaker (head or hand, co-op), Fruit Slice (fingertip blades), Motion Pop, and Hand Pong. Each game page has a full guide covering controls, scoring, and accessibility. More cabinets are in the workshop.
Free to play
Every game is free. Signing in adds leaderboards and progress tracking, and an optional Arcade Pass removes ads for players who want to support the arcade.
